    Don Theriault

    If three words could describe Don, they would be family, insurance, and love - that is, the love of connecting with people.

    Don entered the health insurance market in 1970 under the guidance of London Life with whom he worked with until 1980. Always possessing the entrepreneurial bug and passion to connect, Don ventured out on his own and created Theriault Financial Inc., working with many Nova Scotia and New Brunswick business owners to provide affordable group benefits solutions for their employees.

    Aside from Don’s time spent in the business, he has given many years to his community by serving on numerous boards including two terms with the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. He has volunteered his time with Mount Saint Vincent Alumnae events, is a past President of two of HRM’s Kiwanis Clubs, and is a past Lieutenant Governor with Kiwanis International.

    In addition to Don’s obvious enthusiasm for business and his community, he shares the same passion for his family. When his children were growing up, Don spent many hours volunteering in hockey roles, on and off the ice, and in his church’s catechetics program. Now with seven grandchildren, Don (Papa) and Lynne (Grammie Lynne), love to travel, share family times and spend weekends at the family cottage. A great day to Don includes spending time with his grandchildren.

    Jeff Theriault

    Jeff joined Theriault Financial in 2001 after studying biology and chemistry at Mount St. Vincent University.

    With a passion for healthcare and client service, the group benefits business was a perfect fit. Jeff’s dedication and knowledge ensure that all of his clients receive the specialized approach needed for a healthy workforce.

    Jeff’s roots run deep in the communities of Dartmouth and Halifax where he commits a great deal of time working with various charitable organizations such as the Mental Health Foundation, the Red Cross, and the Chamber of Commerce.

    Whenever possible, he loves travelling and attending concerts and sporting events with his fiancé Beth. And while he enjoys all of the above, there’s nothing more he’d rather do than cook Kraft Dinner, read bedtime stories and build LEGO with his boys Nate and Levi.

    Lynne Theriault

    Lynne joined the family business in 2006 after a long university management career. As senior manager at TFI, her role takes her into all levels and areas of the firm.

    In her spare time, Lynne enjoys time with Don and their three children and seven grandchildren. Life is busy with all of their activities and Lynne especially enjoys her friends, reading, and gardening both at home and at the cottage. Lynne shares her sense of humour with everyone she encounters.

    Chad Lavers

    Chad joined Theriault Financial in 2009. After a successful 14-year career in the automotive industry, he was looking for a change. Theriault Financial offered the required structure to support a challenging and rewarding career…. And so it began.

    Chad has always been well known for great customer service, consistent communication, strong attention to detail and ensuring positive client experience.

    “My goal for both new and existing clients is to educate them throughout every step of the process armed with top notch information and market insight, so that my clients make the best decisions possible”.

    Born and raised in Dartmouth, Chad is an enthusiastic member of the community and enjoys his many hobbies, camping with his family and cheering on his kids!

    Amanda Greek

    Amanda is a licensed Sales Associate at Theriault Financial. She graduated from Saint Mary’s in 2015 with her Commerce Degree in Management and Human Resources. Wanting to find a career to incorporate her desire to help people, Theriault Financial was the perfect fit. Amanda is here to take care of you and your employees and leave you feeling confident that your firm is in the right hands.

    When Amanda isn’t in the office assisting clients, she is around the city working with Don on growing and maintaining business. You can find her out in the community attending workshops, Chamber Business After Hours, networking events and fundraisers.

    On her down time she enjoys play sports, and spending time with her fiancé, and their dog Niko.

    Alisha Diamond

    Alisha is a licensed Sales Assistant at Theriault Financial. She joined Theriault Financial in 2006 shortly after graduating from CompuCollege, in Halifax, where she received her Medical Administration Diploma.

    Alisha takes great pride in assisting our sales team, and her passion is helping others by providing excellent client service. She has built strong relationships with our clients by helping and supporting them with their insurance needs.

    When not hard at work in the office, she spends her spare time making memories with her most favorite people…her husband, three children, and her Pocket Bully fur baby, Storm.

    Laurie Berdan

    Laurie is one of Theriault Financial's licensed Client Services Representatives and is one of the friendly voices you will speak to when you call into our office. Laurie brings with her many years of corporate knowledge and customer service skills to our team.

    Vancouver born and raised, relocating to the Maritimes in 2009, her family has enjoyed every minute of the Maritime laid back life style. Now that her three sons are grown, in her spare time you can catch her spending quality time with her husband or curled up with her 'other kids'.... their three dogs - Aubergine, Walnut, Marbles, a cup of tea and a good book.
